Role: Live-out Housekeeper
Days: 4 days per week – Monday/Tuesday/Thursday & Friday
Hours: 10.00am – 6.00pm
Location: Notting Hill, West London
Contract: Temporary
Salary: £20.00 – £25.00 per hour
Dates: 29th December 2025 until 27th February 2026
We are looking for a temporary Housekeeper to provide cover for 2-months within a private household in Notting Hill, West London.
The Housekeeper will be required to work from 29th December 2025 until 27th February 2026. The working hours are 10.00am to 6.00pm on Mondays, Tuesdays, Thursdays and Fridays. You must be able to commit to the full duration of the temporary period required to be considered for the role.
You will be working for two principals who have two young children. Nannies are employed so although no formal childcare duties will be required you must be happy to work around young children.
The ideal candidate will be confident working independently to maintain a property to a high standard, with a high level of attention to detail and good organisational skills.
You will be covering for the longstanding permanent Housekeeper who is taking holiday. Interviewing/trialling now for a 29th December start.
Duties and responsibilities;
- Full housekeeping duties including deep cleaning
- Laundry and ironing
- Preparing and cooking simple meals when needed
- Making beds and changing linen
- Organising wardrobes
- Reporting any maintenance issues
- Running errands, post office, grocery shopping etc
To be considered for this role you must;
- Have 5+ years of experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household
- Be fluent in English Language
- Hold the rights to work within the UK
- Possess (/be willing to get) an up-to-date DBS certificate
- Have excellent contactable references
