We are seeking a top-level, service-oriented House Manager /Head Butler for a European Family who have relocated to Dubai, UAE
The role will involve ensuring the seamless operation of the Principal’s household through organization, leadership, and expertise, while delivering exceptional service standards. The House Manager will oversee all household staff, manage service protocols, and create comprehensive household manuals for the principal’s properties, to ensure consistency, efficiency, and excellence.
Key Duties & Responsibilities;
- Ensure flawless daily operation of the principal’s primary residence, whilst delivering immaculate service, upholding highest standards of etiquette, discretion; welcoming and anticipating principals’ needs
- Produce and maintain updated comprehensive household manuals, including SOPs
- Maintain inventory of household supplies, groceries, equipment and wine cellar
- Oversee all property systems, including security, communications, and smart-home technologies, liaising with technical contractors, as required
- Proactively manage and schedule household maintenance, supervising external contractors, and ensuring work is completed with minimal disruption
- Assist in managing household budgets, insurances, expenses, staff payroll, and supplier invoicing;
- Prepare the principals’ other residences worldwide ahead of travel, ensuring properties are fully staffed, stocked, and operating to the same elite standard
- Lead, mentor, and manage household staff to consistently exceed expectations in service delivery, and conduct regular performance reviews providing tailored coaching to maintain elite standards
- Manage table setting and meal service with meticulous care and elegance
- Maintain, conserve, and appropriately care for all artwork, sculptures and articles of value
- Organize and maintain records of the family’s wardrobes
- Personally oversee and carry out exceptional service for formal and informal events. providing exceptional dining and hospitality experiences
- Drive the principal and family as occasionally required, and daily management of the family’s calendar
