Role: Live-in Housekeeper/House Manager

We are looking for a Live-in Housekeeper/House Manager to work for a private family in Parsons Green, South West London.
The Housekeeper/House Manager will be contracted to work 45 hours per week over 5 days. Ordinarily the working hours are from 6.30am to 11.30am then 4.30pm to 8.30pm each day.
The principal has two school-age children and when they travel for business, the candidate will need to look after the children, so previous childcare experience is essential.
The ideal candidate will be organised and responsible, and confident working independently to run a household and maintain high standards of cleanliness and organisation.
A candidate who holds a driving license and is confident driving in London would be a huge plus!

Duties and responsibilities;
- Housekeeping duties including deep cleaning
- Laundry and ironing, changing linen
- Organising wardrobes
- Ordering items for the household
- Running errands
- Liaising with contractors
- Assisting with meal preparation, cooking family meals when needed
- Pet care – walking and feeding X1 small dog
- Occasional school runs, and taking the children to activities
- Babysitting/proxy parenting
To be considered for this role you must;
- Have 5+ years of experience working in a similar position within a private household in London
- Hold the rights to work within the UK
- Be fluent in English Language
- Have excellent contactable references
- Have (/ be willing to get) an up-to-date DBS certificate
