Role: Mandarin-Speaking Nanny
Care for: B2 & B6 months
Hours: Monday – Friday, 9am–5pm
Location: South Kensington + international travel (approx. 4 weeks per year)
Salary: £60,000 gross per annum (depending on experience)
Languages: Fluent Mandarin essential
We are looking for an experienced, warm Mandarin-speaking Nanny to support a lovely family in South Kensington, caring for their curious and cheerful two-year-old boy and his baby brother, who will be six months old when the role begins.
This is a long-term, part-time position for a nanny who truly loves children and takes pride in fostering their early development through play, gentle structure, and engaging communication. The family is particularly keen to find someone who can introduce Mandarin through play and daily routines, supporting language development in a natural and joyful way.
The ideal candidate will:
- Have experience with babies and toddlers
- Be confident supporting a consistent daily routine (the toddler has a well-established schedule with set mealtimes, naps, and play)
- Enjoy working alongside hands-on parents who value clear communication and teamwork
- Be enthusiastic about planning age-appropriate activities such as swimming, gymnastics, and educational play
- Be warm, engaging, and professional, with a genuine passion for childcare
This role would suit someone confident, caring, and committed to their profession, with a strong understanding of early years development and a love for nurturing young children.
