Role: Domestic Couple

We are seeking a proactive Domestic Couple to work for a lovely HNW Couple, at a large residence in Suffolk
Working primarily a Monday-Friday schedule, the Couple will act as key-holders for the property and will be security-conscious and highly trustworthy
One half of the couple will oversee all general housekeeping duties, including laundry & ironing, changing of bedding, silver polishing, grocery shopping, and managing deliveries. The ability to cook would also be a bonus (though this is not necessarily a kitchen-focused position)
The other half of the Couple will regularly assist the existing gardeners, so should enjoy being part of an outdoors team, and with some gardening experience.
They should also be confident with managing household maintenance, be able to undertake light repairs and assess any issues before elevating to external contractors. A good level of basic plumbing /carpentry / electrical aptitude would be beneficial. They should also be able to drive and will Chauffeur the Clients locally, if needed
The Clients do entertain occasionally, so there are times when some weekend availability is required (with days given back in lieu). One of more of the Couple should be comfortable with food and beverage service (any formal table-service experience being very beneficial!)
The Family have dogs, so the Couple should be confident around animals and comfortable having a pet stay overnight in the staff accommodation, if required
Accommodation for this role is a large cottage on the estate, with separate access
This is a very rural role, so Couples should be happy in a countryside position where lovely walks and breathtaking surroundings can be enjoyed! The Clients have high standards, however are very appreciative – and this is a lovely role for a Couple looking to settle in a long-term position
