Role: Live-out Houseman (Handyman / Pet Care / Light Gardening Assist.)

Salary: £40,000+ per annum (DOE)
Schedule: 4/5 days per week, typically 8am–6pm, include weekends

We are seeking a skilled, reliable and flexible Houseman / Maintenance & Garden Assistant for a 4/5-days per-week role, to support a large, busy British household in Kensington
This is a hands-on, role suited to a proactive and practical individual with experience maintaining the interior and exterior of a high-value private residence. Working independently and alongside other senior staff, you will play a key role in ensuring the property exteriors, gardens and facilities are maintained, in addition to assisting with the pet-care of multiple dogs and other pets
Key responsibilities:
• Under the guidance of a Senior Gardener – supporting the upkeep of gardens and exterior spaces
• Carrying out general garden maintenance including seasonal planting support, hedge trimming, deadheading, leaf blowing, jet washing and maintaining bin areas
• Under the guidance of a Senior Pet Carer – providing pet care support (approximately two days per week)
• Handling multiple dogs and other pets; feeding, grooming and dog-walking, maintaining cleanliness of pet areas etc.
• Undertaking light maintenance and handyman duties across the property
• Cleaning ironwork and perimeter walls and keeping drains and gullies clear
• Assisting external contractors with planned maintenance schedules
• Maintaining plant rooms, garages and storage areas in a clean, organised and presentable condition
• Managing household inventories including lightbulbs and general supplies
• Assisting with ad-hoc household tasks such as assembling furniture, setting up equipment and supporting other team members
• Running errands
