Role: Daily Private Governor / Governess / Teacher / Tutor
Location: West London + extensive international travel
Schedule: ~5 hours per day, with flexibility (especially when travelling when it can be more)
Salary: £75,000–£85,000+ DOE

A warm, high-net-worth family is seeking an academically strong, professional, and experienced educator to support their 13-year-old son, who attends a well-regarded private secondary school in West London.
The role is daily in London, with significant international travel for periods of up to 3–4 months at a time. The ideal candidate will bring a high standard of academic excellence, proven longevity in similar roles, and a genuine ability to build rapport with a teenager.
Responsibilities:
- Deliver structured Year 9 / pre-GCSE and GCSE-focused lessons, prioritising Maths, English, and Science
- Track progress and plan, deliver, and adapt lessons to suit changing locations and schedules
- Provide pastoral support, structure, and routine to help the student develop confidence and thrive academically and personally
- Maintain continuity of learning and consistently high standards during extended international trips
Requirements:
- Strong academic degree; 3–5+ years’ teaching/tutoring experience with students aged 13–15
- Solid British curriculum experience (private school and/or GCSE teaching/tutoring)
- Subject strengths in English, Maths, and Science essential; ability to teach French, Spanish and/or Mandarin required (at least one of these languages)
- Proven longevity in previous roles and evidence of building positive, trusting relationship with teenage students
- Highly organised, calm, professional, and discreet; comfortable working within a semi-formal HNW household
- Enhanced DBS, up-to-date first aid, excellent references, valid passport, and full willingness to travel internationally for extended periods
