Role: Live-in Housekeeper/Nanny
Days: 5 days per week (Sunday & Monday off)
Hours: 40/45 hours per week (8am-6pm)
Location: Oxshott, Surrey
Salary: £45,000-£55,000+ (depending upon experience)
Contract: Permanent
Start: Early January 2026 (flexible)
Accommodation: Private nanny flat (top floor of home); bedroom, bathroom, kitchen and living room
A warm and busy family are seeking an experienced Live-in Housekeeper/Nanny to support the smooth running of their home in Oxshott, Surrey
The household includes three school-aged children (6, 8 and 10) and a gentle retriever-mix dog. This is a newly created role and ideal for someone organised, proactive and genuinely child-friendly. The Family also employ a part-time housekeeper to assist with household duties;
- Approx. 80% Housekeeping / 20% Childcare
- General housekeeping, laundry, ironing and clothing organisation
- Simple family cooking
- Supporting after-school routines, supervising bath-time and bedtime
- Two evenings of babysitting per week (planned in advance)
- Caring for the family hamster and dog including daily walks
- Packing/unpacking and helping with travel preparation
- Travelling with the Family during school holidays
- Occasional house-sitting when the family is away
Candidate Requirements
- 3-5+ years’ experience in private households; Confident with children and happy with dogs
- Good communication skills
- Right to work in the UK; DBS (or willing to obtain)
- Eligibility to travel internationally, including within Europe
- Driving helpful (not essential)
- French or Spanish language ability a bonus (not essential)
