Role: Live-in Estate Manager

We are looking for a Russian speaking Estate Manager for a live-in role in Egham, Surrey.

The Estate Manager will be responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the estate on a daily basis; overseeing household operations and staff, scheduling repairs and maintenance works, administration and budget control. The estate comprises a mansion house, positioned within delightful landscaped grounds and formal gardens.

This is a full-time position working 9-10-hour days, 5 days per week. It’s essential that the candidate is flexible to work additional days/hours when the Principal is in residence.

The salary offered for the position will depend on experience, qualifications and skills.

The ideal candidate must be fluent in both English and Russian languages, with a can do attitude and positive work ethic, have 5+ years of experience managing an estate, possess excellent knowledge of household tech systems and property maintenance.

Duties and responsibilities;

  • Ensuring the smooth running of the Estate
  • Managing domestic staff;
  • Monitoring and performing general maintenance of all property management systems, analysing and dealing with faults.
  • Handyman duties / Basic DIY
  • Maintenance of swimming pools
  • Coordinating repairs of all equipment including air conditioning systems, power supply systems, water supply systems, heating systems, plumbing and sewage systems, swimming pools and equipment and other systems in the house
  • Scheduling and supervising contractors
  • Administration and budget control
  • Additional duties as per the Principal’s request

To be considered for this role you must;

  • Have 5+ years of experience managing a fully staffed estate
  • Be fluent in both English and Russian Languages
  • Possess (/be willing to get) an up to date DBS check
  • Have a valid passport
  • Be eligible to work within the UK
