Role: Live-out Housekeeper
Days: Monday to Friday
Hours: both 8.00am-5.00pm & 10.00am-7.00pm shifts
Location: Holland Park, Kensington
Salary: £46,000-£52,000 gross per annum (DOE)
Contract: Temporary – Permanent
Start: Immediate for the right candidate/Flexible
We are seeking a skilled and active live-out Housekeeper for a busy family, at their large semi-formal household in Holland Park, Kensington
Working in a small and organised team of three Housekeepers you will be required to assist with detailed cleaning and organisation, laundry & ironing, wardrobe management, and care for quality furniture & surfaces such as marble and wooden floors. Other duties may include assisting Chef with food preparation and maintaining kitchen cleanliness, laying simple table for family meals and light welcoming of guests.
The Family travel to their Country House for occasional weekends, during which time one of the 3 the Housekeepers may be asked to accompany them, with notice given. However, there is no international travel expected for this role
Shifts required are 8.00am to 5.00pm or 10.00am to 7.00pm, Monday to Friday, and flexibility to alternate between the shift times will be required. Occasional weekend availability (with days off in lieu on weekdays) will be required
Whilst this is not a nanny role, the family have two children aged 9 and 7 (and a cat), so the Housekeeper should be child- and pet-friendly
The ideal candidate will be a detail-oriented, hard-working team player who is discreet and flexible
