A welcoming family based in Kensington is looking for a warm, organised, and adaptable Live-out Nanny/Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis.
Based in their lateral apartment, you will support with the day-to-day running of the home alongside caring for their 2-year-old son. Mum works part-time and is hands-on, so the role will involve a combination of sole charge and shared care. The ability to transition smoothly between childcare duties and household responsibilities is essential.
Mum is currently expecting her second child in July and will be supported by a maternity nurse for the first three months. During this period, your primary focus will remain on the toddler and household duties, with the opportunity to gradually become involved in supporting both children as the role evolves.
The ideal candidate will be calm, nurturing, and intuitive — confident in taking initiative while also respecting family time and space. A proactive approach to maintaining the home and anticipating needs will be highly valued.
This is a Monday to Friday position, 8:30am–7:00pm, with occasional babysitting required by prior arrangement.
To be considered, applicants must have solid experience caring for babies and toddlers within private households.
To be considered for this role you must;
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Hold a valid passport
- Be fluent in English
- Have a valid DBS certificate (or be willing to obtain one)
- Provide excellent, contactable references
- Have a minimum of 3 years’ experience working as a Nanny/Housekeeper in a private household
