PRIVATE CARDIAC / HEART-FAILURE NURSE – DOHA, QATAR HOUSEHOLD, QAR 220,000-300,000

Role:  Live-in Private Cardiac / Heart-Failure Nurse

Location: Doha, Qatar

Salary: QAR 220,000 – QAR 300,000 per year (depending on experience)

Schedule: full time, 6 days per week

We are seeking an experienced Heart-Failure / Cardiac Nurse to provide private one-to-one care for an elderly patient within a VVIP Household in Doha, Qatar

The patient has a history of heart failure and diabetes and is stable on established medical therapy. Care is coordinated by a Family Physician who has worked with senior members of the Royal Family and government for over 10 years, alongside a diabetes specialist and cardiologist.

This role would suit a calm, compassionate and clinically confident nurse who is able to work autonomously within a supportive household. The family speak fluent English, are respectful, and value professionalism and kindness.

Key Responsibilities

• Daily observation and assessment of the patient’s condition, symptoms and general wellbeing

• Monitoring of heart-failure status (fluid balance, edema, breathlessness, weight trends, medications)

• Monitoring blood glucose and supporting diabetes management as directed by specialists

• Safe administration and management of prescribed medications

• Liaising regularly with the Family Physician and specialist medical team

• Maintaining clear documentation and communicating any concerns promptly

• Supporting mobility, rest, hydration and nutrition routines as recommended

• Accompanying the patient to medical appointments and occasional travel if required

• Helping to maintain a calm, dignified and reassuring environment

Requirements

• Registered Nurse with recognised qualification (BSc Nursing or equivalent)

• Minimum 3+ years clinical experience in cardiac / heart failure / ICU / CCU / medical ward care

• Confident in monitoring complex patients and escalating when appropriate

• Excellent interpersonal skills with a gentle, respectful bedside manner

• High level of discretion and professionalism in private household settings

• Fluent English (spoken and written)

• Willingness to live-in and provide ongoing continuity of care

• Have excellent contactable references
