Role: Rota Nanny

Days/Hours: 7 days on / 7 days off

Salary: £55,000 – £70,000 gross per annum

We are looking for a qualified French speaking Nanny for a rota position caring for two children in Highgate, North London.

The Nanny will work on rotation with one another to care for the two children a boy aged 2 years old and a baby boy. The family will be employing a Maternity Nurse on a temporary contract to care for the newborn who is due in April 2020. The Maternity Nurse will care for the infant from birth for the first couple of months; the Nannies will take over the duties from the Maternity Nurse once she leaves. The Principal’s also have a 16-year-old child who is fairly independent, but the Nannies will still be expected to support when they are on duty. The family are prioritising applicants with a full clean driving license and are confident driving in London.

Your primary focus will be on the development and care of the youngest children, you will be confident caring for the children independently but also happy to work in a shared care capacity with the Mother. During the week you are on duty you will stay at the family’s property and be on-call 24 hours, sharing the night-time duties and having the baby monitor so Mum can get some rest. The family travel for approximately 20 weeks of the year and they would like the Nannies to accompany them on these trips.

You will be provided with your own bedroom within the family home for your use during your working days. You will need to have your own accommodation for your time off.

The salary for the position is £55,000 – £70,000 gross per annum. Please note that the exact salary offered will depend upon qualifications, skills and previous experience and earnings.

The ideal candidate will have 5+ years’ experience working as a Nanny, have previously cared for babies and toddlers, you will be a natural caregiver with a genuine interest in child development.

  • Packing and unpacking for travel

  • Personal shopping
  • Scheduling appointments for the children
  • Diary management

  • Be eligible to work within the UK
  • Fluent in English Language
  • Fluent in French Language
  • Have a valid passport
  • Have excellent contactable references
  • Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS check
  • Have a valid First Aid Certificate
