Schedule: 1 week on / 1 week off rota

Salary: £65,000 – £70,000 gross per annum

A lovely, welcoming family based in Sloane Square, London is seeking an experienced, fun, and educationally focused Rota Nanny to care for their three school-aged children (ages 5, 9 and 12).

The family is looking for a bubbly, engaging and proactive nanny who can create a positive, nurturing and stimulating environment for the children. Someone who enjoys helping with homework, supporting with 11+ preparation, and encouraging learning through play and exploration will thrive in this role.

You’ll work on a 1 week on / 1 week off rota, so strong communication and teamwork skills are essential. The family have housekeepers and value a nanny who is organised, professional, and discreet.

Duties include providing warm, attentive care for three children aged 5 to 12, assisting with homework and supporting their educational development, including 11+ exam preparation. The nanny will plan fun, creative, and age-appropriate activities, manage school drop-offs, pick-ups, and after-school routines, and travel with the family during school holidays. The role involves liaising closely with parents and household staff to ensure smooth daily routines and carrying out light organisational tasks related to the children.

The ideal candidate will be confident, capable, and highly organised, able to maintain routines, arrange activities and playdates, and adapt to the family’s dynamic schedule. A driver is preferred, and the nanny must be dog friendly, as the family has a lovely Bichon Frise.

Requirements

  • Proven experience working as a rota or full-time nanny with school-aged children
  • Confident in supporting homework, academic development, and 11+ preparation
  • Energetic, engaging, and positive personality with a genuine love for children
  • Highly organised, adaptable, and an excellent communicator
  • Able to work effectively within a team environment alongside parents and household staff
  • Driver preferred (clean licence advantageous)
  • Dog friendly – the family has a small Bichon Frise
  • Excellent, checkable references from previous families
  • Clear and up-to-date Enhanced DBS check
  • Right to work in the UK
