Role: Maternity Nanny / Night Nanny – Part Time

Days/Hours: 24 / 48 hours a week initially,  Friday 5pm-  Saturday or Sunday 5pm

Location: Maida Vale, W9

Salary: £200 -£250 gpd on skills & experience

Start: Early March, 22

We are seeking a kind, nurturing, caring Maternity Nanny / Night Nanny to join a family based in Maida Vale, London.

This position is part time role and initially on a 3 week temporary / trial basis to support a new mother in a single parent family in the care of her newborn covering for the full time Maternity Nurses day’s off. Should everything work well then the selected  Maternity Nanny will continue to cover the maternity nurses day’s off longer term until she finishes after 3 – 4 months and then it may become more of a night nanny position  with the number of days and hours to be agreed.

The Maternity Nanny needs to be happy to follow a routine which has been implemented by the full time Maternity Nurse and support the mother in the care of her daughter, feeding, nursery duties, nursery duties and being an extra pair of hands.

Maternity Nanny applicants for this role can be very experienced maternity nannies/ night nannies or nanny with extensible newborn experience and maternity training looking to add to their professional maternity experience. You must have a proactive, can-do attitude   with nurturing, flexible approach and an ability to help a new first time mother have a really positive start with her daughter.

The family also consists of a much loved boisterous labrador who is very might a part of the family. Any Maternity Nanny applicants for this role should be very comfortable being around large, friendly, active dogs and try to include the dog as much as possible.

Accommodation is an ensuite bedroom shared with the baby.

The ideal Maternity Nanny will ideally have 5+ years of experience with babies  along maternity nanny training qualifications. You should be genuinely passionate about caring for babies and see this as an amazing opportunity to gain experience in caring for a newborn as a Maternity Nanny following the guidance and routine set by a Highly experienced professional Maternity Nurse.

  • Have 5+ years’ experience with babies
