A VIP private family based in Miami Beach (FL) are seeking a skilled, creative and flexible Private Chef to prepare elegant, healthy, home-cooked meals with a focus on organic, seasonal, and high-quality ingredients
Dishes for the Family (including kids) will prioritise wellness withing a home-cooked Mediterranean cuisine aesthetic – and have a strong international influences, particularly incorporating Eastern flavours (e.g. Indian, Thai, Korean, Japanese). The chef will also bring creativity in preparing fun and nutritious meals for young children.
The family enjoys a light and homely approach to cuisine that is nourishing and balanced (with the occasional requirement to host and impress during dinner parties or small gatherings)
This is a Live-out, Miami-based role based on a 5-day working week (around 246 working days pro-rata, annually). The Clients travel frequently and so would like flexibility for 6 days per week when they are in residence (with Chef taking lieu time back when they are away). Candidates will also provide flexibility to travel with the family during summer and holiday seasons (when live-in accommodation and expenses will be covered).
Candidates should have strong private household experience and a top restaurant background and come with food images (or media links) and excellent contactable references
To apply for this role you must;
• Be Miami-based or willing to relocate to Miami independently – and be eligible to work in the US
• Be flexible to work up to 6 days per week when Clients are in-residence and when travelling
• Have a valid police record check or be willing to obtain one
• Have excellent contactable references
• Have a food image portfolio or media links
• Have 5+ years’ experience working as a Chef within a private household
