Days/Hours: Rota position, 2 weeks on/off or 4 weeks on/off (flexible)
Location: London, Europe & International Travel
Salary: £70,000–£100,000 GPA depending on experience
Start Date: April
We are delighted to be recruiting an exceptional bilingual French and English speaking baby nanny to join a warm and respectful family in a long-term rota position commencing in Spring.
The family are seeking a highly experienced career nanny with proven expertise in the care of young babies, confident in supporting early developmental stages, establishing healthy routines, and guiding the transition from the maternity nurse phase through infancy and beyond within a fully staffed household focused entirely on the baby’s wellbeing and development.
The successful candidate will be responsible for maintaining consistent sleep routines, supporting developmental milestones, and confidently managing weaning and early nutrition as the baby grows, while creating a calm, nurturing and stimulating environment and maintaining beautifully organised nursery spaces. A key aspect of the role will be naturally encouraging bilingual development through daily communication in both French and English.
The position operates on a two-week or four-week rota, working collaboratively alongside another rota nanny and household team within a supportive and well-organised environment. The family are seeking someone looking to commit long-term and become a trusted and consistent presence in their child’s life. The role is based across the family’s residences in London and internationally, with regular travel throughout Europe and the United States. As the household is fully staffed, no cooking or housekeeping duties are required, allowing full focus on childcare and developmental support.
The ideal candidate will be ideally bilingual in French and English, with extensive professional experience caring for babies from infancy and strong knowledge of developmental milestones, sleep routines and weaning. Previous rota experience within private households is highly desirable. Recognised childcare qualifications are essential, with training or certification in specialist maternity or infant sleep support considered highly advantageous, alongside backgrounds such as Norland, Montessori or similar early years education approaches. Candidates should be confident travelling internationally and able to provide excellent verifiable references. Ideally candidates will hold EU and UK, EU and US, or UK and US passports to facilitate travel, although flexibility exists for the right individual.
We have worked closely with this family for several years and have successfully placed multiple longstanding members of their household team. They are known for providing a respectful, stable and highly professional working environment where staff are genuinely valued.
