Schedule: Monday–Friday, 10-11 hours per day, with 2-3 evenings of overnight proxy parenting included

Salary: £50,000–£70,000 gross per annum (dependent on experience)

A warm, welcoming and professional family based in Mayfair is seeking an experienced and nurturing live-in nanny to care for their two young children. This is a fantastic opportunity for a confident and engaging nanny who takes pride in creating a calm, structured and joyful environment in which children can thrive.
The role focuses on the children’s overall wellbeing, development and daily routines. The nanny will plan stimulating, age-appropriate activities that support early learning, creativity and social development, while maintaining consistency and gentle structure. The eldest enjoys performing arts and expressive play, while the youngest is naturally curious and benefits from a nurturing, attentive approach.
Responsibilities include all nursery duties, such as managing daily schedules, preparing healthy meals, organising wardrobes and laundry, and supporting smooth morning and evening routines. The nanny will also organise playdates and outings, encouraging positive social interaction and fostering a warm, secure environment.
The ideal candidate will be confident in a sole-charge role, comfortable with a gentle proxy parenting approach, and able to work collaboratively within a fully staffed household. The family travels approximately eight weeks per year, including European trips and ski holidays, and would like the nanny to accompany them.
Warm, intuitive, organised and proactive, the successful candidate will have a strong understanding of early years development and a genuine passion for childcare. This is a long-term position within a kind and respectful family. Additional hours are compensated.
Requirements: Excellent checkable references; current, up-to-date DBS/police check; legal right to live and work in the UK; fluent English; ideally a driver; flexible to travel.
