Role: Live-In Nanny
Care for: B3 & G7 months
Days/Hours: Weekday afternoons/evenings (approx. 5:00pm – 8:00pm, with flexibility) + full weekends (7:00am – 8:00pm) + travel cover
Location: Wollerau, Switzerland (approx. 30 minutes from Zurich)
Salary: £60,000 – £70,000 gross per annum (dependent on experience)
A warm, active, and international family based in Wollerau are seeking a flexible and proactive Nanny to join them on a long-term basis.
You will work alongside an existing daytime nanny, providing afternoon, evening, weekend, and travel support, stepping into a more full-time, proxy parenting role when the family are travelling.
You will support two children, a bright and inquisitive 3-year-old boy and a 7-month-old baby girl. The little boy is independent, thoughtful, and loves cars, books, and understanding how things work, while the baby has a well-established routine and sleeps throughout the night. You will take the lead on engaging the children in play, encouraging development, supporting early learning, and guiding the eldest with gentle structure as he grows. Outdoor play, curiosity-led activities, and a calm, responsive approach will all be key in this role.
Alongside childcare, you will take on a well-balanced household support role. You will help keep the home running smoothly by assisting with family cooking, laundry and general household upkeep. There is no expectation for deep cleaning, but a naturally organised and proactive mindset will be essential. You will also occasionally assist with walking the family’s friendly English Cocker Spaniel.
The family would love a nanny who is emotionally intelligent, warm, and intuitive, someone who knows when to step forward and take initiative, and when to take a step back and support the rhythm of the household.
A positive, energetic approach is highly valued, and they are open to candidates with a range of experience levels, provided you bring enthusiasm, good judgement, and a genuine love for working with children.
This is a fully staffed and international household, with multiple languages spoken including English, German, and Norwegian. A Spanish speaker would be a bonus, given the family’s connection to Mallorca. The role includes regular travel, including weekends in St Moritz, extended stays in Mallorca, and time in Norway throughout the year, so flexibility and a genuine enjoyment of travel are important.
Accommodation is provided in the form of a private bedroom with an en suite.
A driving licence and EU passport are required for this position.
