Salary: Circa £45,000 gross per annum (pro rata, dependent on experience)

A warm, creative, and down-to-earth family are seeking an experienced and adaptable Temporary Nanny to join them on an urgent, short-term basis. You will step in to support the care of their 19-month-old daughter while their permanent nanny recovers from injury, providing consistency, warmth, and confidence during this transitional period.
You will care for one toddler in both shared care and sole charge, supporting her daily routine, development, and play. You will engage her through age-appropriate activities, encourage curiosity and exploration, and ensure she feels secure and settled. The role is purely childcare-focused, with no housekeeping duties required, allowing you to be fully present and attentive.
The family split their time between their home in Islington and a countryside property in Tring, where you will spend 1–2 days per week. Travel between locations is straightforward, and a driver is not required. In May, you will also accompany the family on a one-week trip to Mallorca, so a flexible and travel-ready approach is important.
The family would love a nanny who is calm, capable, and reassuring, someone who can step in seamlessly and bring a positive, steady energy to the home. You will be naturally warm, organised, and confident working in a dynamic household, with the ability to adapt to varying schedules given the parents’ creative professions.
