Role: Live-in Housekeeper

This is an exciting opportunity for an experienced professional & proactive Housekeeper to live in, and look after a beautiful property based in the heart of Chelsea, for an international family
This is a secondary home for the Family, and is within walking distance of their main, fully staffed household. As the Family are not constantly in residence and spend a great deal of time overseas, the second property needs to be kept ‘arrival ready’ at all times
Working alongside one other Live-in Housekeeper, primary responsibilities are to maintain the cleanliness and working upkeep of the property (comprising a large Master Suite, 2 Guest Suites, Gym & Cinema room) to the highest standards. When the Clients are in-residence the Housekeeper should be unobtrusive, discreet and astute to Principals’ needs and requirements
If would be advantageous if the Housekeeper had cooking ability and could prepare a range of cuisines, including Greek, Italian and Mediterranean – although this duty may be undertaken by the other Live-in Housekeeper. A confident level of F&B service ability would also be beneficial
When the Family are not in town, daily cleaning & scheduled cleaning should be undertaken, in addition to liaising with contractors and service providers to make sure all the technical and digital systems are working and ready for use. The externals comprise an internal courtyard which needs to be maintained, however there is no real ‘gardening’ required. The Housekeeper should also be extremely security conscious, as one of the guardians of the property
As the main property is fully-staffed the Housekeeper may also be required to assist the staff there and vice-versa. An excellent level of flexibility will be expected when Clients are in-residence, perhaps requiring split days off. However this is very much balanced by the family being overseas to a significant degree
Accommodation provided is separate with 2 bedrooms and a living area
This is a role that should offer a great work/life balance in the heart of the city, working for a loyal Family.Therefore candidates should have proven longevity in roles and be able to provide excellent references
