A new position has arisen for a dynamic, switched-on and hard-working Live-in Nanny/Family PA/Mother’s Help, to work for a lovely Family at their home on the Wentworth Estate, Virginia Water, Surrey
The Nanny will take care of a G12, and B15 (who is home weekends from boarding school). Although Mum is hands-on and works from home, she travels frequently – requiring a responsible adult presence to provide mentoring & caretaking for the children
Working alongside a small household staff, a Tuesday-Saturday working schedule is required, with usual hours being 11am-8pm (with flexibility needed to cover occasional evenings and overnights)
An initial temporary 6-month contract is offered (with the full intention of turning permanent for someone who would like to grow with the family) and the role will suit those who are positive, polished, organised and emotionally intelligent. Most of all a flexible attitude is essential as the dynamics of the household vary!
Candidates will also be expected to help to feed, walk and groom 2 King Charles Cavalier Dogs – including vet or physio appointments, and with overnight responsibility when the Family are away. Any equestrian experience is also a bonus, as the daughter loves riding horses. Both kids are sporty, so a willingness to be active with them is a plus!
Living quarters are an on-site flat with bedroom and en-suite bathroom (living room and kitchen shared with other staff during working hours) and a private entrance.
Duties to include;
- Driving the kids (essential requirement)
- Light cooking with the children
- Laundry duties for children, and cleaning the children’s bedrooms
- Household ordering and arranging appointments for the kids
- Overnight responsibilities when the Family are away
- Travelling with the Family and planning holiday activities
- Greeting and serving occasional Guests
- Engaging (playing cards, games, sports, music, chatting) with the children
To be considered for this role you must:
- Be eligible to work in the UK, with full passport
- Have a full, clean UK driving license
- Have excellent spoken and written English
- Have excellent contactable references
- Have 3-5 years’ experience working within a private household or luxury leisure environment
