Role: Live out Housekeeper
Days: Monday – Friday
Hours: 8.00am – 4.00pm or 9.00am – 5.00pm

Salary: In The Region Of £45,000 Gross per Annum

We are looking for a professional Live-out Housekeeper to work for a private family in Notting Hill, West London
You will form part of a small team to ensure the upkeep, cleanliness, and organisation of this semi-formal family home on a daily basis. The role involves both general housekeeping duties, as well as caring for laundry, so you must be confident caring for clothing. The family employ a two other Housekeepers, a full time Nanny, Chauffeur, Chef and Security personnel
You will be contracted to work 8.00am to 4.00pm or 9.00am to 5.00pm, and ordinarily you will be required to work Monday to Friday. Flexibility to work occasional weekends from time-to time will be required
This is a fantastic role for a highly organised and service-oriented candidate with excellent housekeeping and laundry skills to ensure this property remains in an excellent condition all year round, and who enjoys working as part of a small team
Candidates should be pet friendly and comfortable around dogs
Please note that the salary offered for the position will depend upon the candidate’s skills, qualifications and previous experience
Hindi, Tagalog and Indonesian speakers are all particularly welcome to apply
Duties and responsibilities;
- General housekeeping duties; vacuuming, polishing, dusting, deep cleaning
- Household laundry and ironing
- Operating specialist laundry equipment and appliances
- Handling luxury clothing with care
- Handwashing delicate items
- Packing & unpacking for travel
- Wardrobe management and organization
- Upkeep of artwork, furniture, silverware and china
- Making beds and changing linen
- Organising wardrobes
- Ensuring household items remain stocked
- Liaise with Principals and family office providing regular reports/updates on household activity and works list
- Ensure residence security at all times
- Greet guests on arrival
- Shopping for groceries and household items
- Assist with preparation for private functions
To be considered for this role you should;
- Have excellent contactable references
- Possess (or be willing to get) an up to date DBS check
- Be eligible to work in the UK
- Have a valid passport
- Have 4+ years previous experience working within a private household as a Housekeeper
