A warm, informal HNW family based just outside Manchester are looking for an
experienced, flexible nanny to join them on an ad hoc basis assisting some weekends
and cover help for their perm nanny who we placed in the role. The family frequently
attend events in London and further afield, and travel extensively throughout the UK
and internationally. They are looking for someone who is happy to either meet them in
London or travel with them from Manchester to London and back, depending on their
schedule. For this reason, they are open to applications from candidates based in
London or Manchester, provided they are happy to travel.
The role is primarily to provide weekend support, covering anything from 12-hour
shifts through to 24-hour on-call care, most commonly when the family are in or around
London. There will also be opportunities to provide holiday cover for the family’s
permanent nanny, subject to availability.
The nanny will be caring for a little girl aged 2 years and a baby boy from 4 months old.
The family are looking for someone who is genuinely warm, fun, engaging and caring,
with excellent experience supporting babies, toddlers and preschool-aged children. You
should be confident working in partnership with hands-on parents and enjoy creating a
happy, nurturing and stimulating environment.
The ideal candidate will ideally have previous experience working with HNW families,
be professional, discreet and adaptable, and enjoy the flexibility and variety that this
role offers. A relevant childcare qualification is highly desirable, and a driver would be
preferred.
