Daily Nanny / Family Assistant
Summary
A warm, hands-on family seeks a proactive, experienced nanny to support three children aged 7, 5.5, and 4, based primarily in Bozeman, Montana, with travel to Malibu, California.
Salary and Hours
Salary: $80,000–$110,000 gross per annum, dependent on experience.
Schedule: Monday to Friday, split shifts 7:00am–9:00am and 2:00pm–7:00/8:00pm. Initial three months include some weekend support (approx. five hours) to help settle children into routine.
Location and Travel
Primary residence in Bozeman, Montana, with travel to Malibu, California.
Duties
- Support three active, outdoorsy children with individual needs and personalities.
- Provide wraparound care before and after school, including school runs.
- Organise engaging, predominantly outdoor activities.
- Prepare meals for the children and manage nursery duties.
- Maintain tidy and organised children’s spaces.
- Support evening and bedtime routines collaboratively with parents.
Requirements
- Proactive, confident, and invested in child development.
- Background in education, child psychology, or similar highly valued.
- Calm, structured approach to behaviour with clear, consistent boundaries.
- Confident driver with experience in snow or icy conditions.
- Flexibility to support family needs as required.
Additional Information
The household includes a housekeeper three days per week and a friendly older dog.
Potential for live-in accommodation in a self-contained guest house in the future.
