A warm and welcoming fully staffed family based on The Palm, Dubai, is seeking an
experienced, engaging and educationally focused Daily Nanny / Governess to support their
two daughters, aged 5 and 7. The girls attend a British curriculum private school, and the
family is looking for someone who can confidently support their education while encouraging
curiosity, independence and a genuine love of learning through fun, structured and enriching
activities.
The role will include overseeing homework, supporting learning and development, organising
educational outings and activities, and maintaining consistent routines. The ideal candidate
will be warm, proactive and organised, with a strong understanding of the British or
American private school curriculum and the ability to provide engaging, age-appropriate
educational support in a calm and positive manner. A child-led and gentle parenting approach
would be highly valued, and perfect spoken and written English is essential.
As the household is fully staffed, your sole focus will be the children’s care, education,
routines and overall development. A confident driver would be highly preferred. British or
US passport holders are preferred for ease of international travel, although EU passport
holders may also be considered.
The family would ideally like someone available 5–6 days per week, averaging
approximately 40 hours per week during term time. The preferred schedule is wraparound
care during school days (afternoons and early evenings), together with one full day on
Saturday from 9:00am, although alternative weekend arrangements, such as a half-day, may
also be considered for the right candidate. Flexibility is highly valued.
The successful candidate must be happy to travel extensively with the family during school
holidays, including Europe, India and the United States. During July and August, you will
accompany the family to California, spending time in both the Bay Area and Los Angeles,
working a minimum of 40 hours per week, with flexibility for up to 60 hours when
required. Any add
