A warm American family who have recently relocated to Belgravia are seeking an experienced and professional Nanny to care for their happy and easy-going 22-month-old daughter.
The family arelooking for someone with approximately 5–10 years of professional childcareexperience who is confident working within a private family environment. Theywould love a Nanny who is comfortable with a shared-care dynamic and enjoysbuilding a positive relationship with the parents as well as their daughter.The family value open communication and are very receptive to the knowledge,ideas and experience a Nanny can bring to the role.
Their daughter isa curious and easy-going little girl who loves being outdoors, animals andplay. She enjoys trips to Hyde Park, walks by the river, and visits to theScience Museum and Natural History Museum. From the autumn, the family arehoping to introduce ballet, swimming and music classes into her weekly routine.
You will takeresponsibility for her day to-day care, planning engaging and age-appropriateactivities, accompanying her to classes and outings, preparing simple andnutritious meals, and supporting her ongoing development and routine. Thefamily employ a Housekeeper, so there are no housekeeping or laundryresponsibilities within the role.
The standardworking schedule is Monday to Friday, 10:00am - 7:00pm. The family also travelduring the year, including extended summer trips and travel to the USA. Whentravelling, the working hours shift to approximately 60 hours per week.
The household hasa friendly 10 year old hypoallergenic mixed-breed dog, so you should becomfortable around dogs; however, no dog care or walking is required. Drivingis not essential, although it could be beneficial. A recognised childcarequalification would be welcomed.
The family areseeking someone warm, capable and discreet who genuinely enjoys working withtoddlers and is looking to build a positive, collaborative relationship withboth the child and her parents.
