A warm family based in Notting Hill are seeking an experienced, highly organised and capableFull-Time Nanny to take full charge of their three children, aged 10, 9 and 6.
This is a busy andvaried role ideally suited to someone who genuinely enjoys working withschool-age children and is confident managing the logistics of three differentschedules across two schools, alongside a full programme of activities,appointments and after-school commitments.
The family employa full-time live-in Housekeeper and Cook, so there are no cleaning or cookingresponsibilities within the position. The Nanny’s focus will be entirely on thechildren: overseeing their day-to-day routines, supporting their development, managingschool and activity schedules, coordinating pick-ups and drop-offs, andensuring everything runs smoothly and calmly.
One of thechildren has additional needs; however, previous special needs experience isnot essential. More importantly, the family are looking for someoneexceptionally kind, loving and patient who remains calm under pressure and canconfidently navigate the natural business of a household with three children. Ateaching or educational background could be particularly beneficial.
Organisation willbe a key part of the role. The children attend two different schools and havevaried extracurricular schedules, with several people occasionally involved incollections and activities, so the successful candidate will be an excellent communicatorwho is proactive, detail-oriented and comfortable taking ownership of a busyfamily diary.
The family alsohave a five-month-old Cavapoo, so they would love someone who enjoys dogs andis happy to help with him during the day where needed, including occasional vetappointments.
A full UK drivinglicence and confidence driving in London are essential, with a family carprovided for use during working hours.
The standardschedule is Monday to Friday, 7:15am–6:15pm, although there is often theopportunity for an earlier finish on Fridays when the family travel to thecountryside.
