• Briefing and coordinating temporary waiting staff during guest stays and events.
• Anticipating requirements and remembering individual guest preferences.
• Running errands and assisting with additional household requests when needed.
The ideal candidate will:
• Have previous Butler, private household or high-end hospitality experience.
• Possess excellent front-of-house and food and beverage service skills.
• Be warm, polished, discreet and confident without being overly formal.
• Have a genuine interest in wine, spirits and hospitality.
• Be practical, hands-on and willing to assist wherever required.
• Remain calm and cheerful during busy guest periods.
• Appreciate the atmosphere and traditions of an English country estate.
• Be flexible regarding early starts, late finishes, weekends and occasional travel.
• Hold a full UK driving licence due to the rural location.
• Live within commuting distance of Salisbury or be willing to relocate.
• Provide excellent, verifiable references.
Experience of shooting hospitality or country pursuits would be helpful but is not essential.
