DOMESTIC COUPLE (CHEF/COOK & HOUSEKEEPER) – HAMPSTEAD, LONDON – £70,000–£85,000+
Role: Live-in Domestic Couple (Chef/Cook & Housekeeper)
Salary: £70,000–£85,000+ gross per annum (combined), depending on experience
Working Pattern: 5 days/ 40 hours per week, including some weekends
Accommodation: Private two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment (located near main property)

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Domestic Couple to join a lovely private household in
Hampstead.
The principals are seeking a genuinely experienced couple, with one partner taking full responsibility for
cooking and the other managing the housekeeping operation, including laundry, wardrobe management and
the day-to-day presentation of the home’s interiors. The household is overseen by a long-serving House
Manager and supported by an established team including security, gardening and chauffeur staff
The property is occupied by only one principal on a day-to-day basis (with occasional visits from family and
guests). The household includes three dogs and two cats
The Cook/Chef will be responsible for preparing fresh, healthy daily meals for the principal, including
evening dinners and simple lunches as required. The role will also involve catering for occasional family visits
and informal entertaining for approximately 5–6 guests, menu planning, grocery shopping, maintaining a
clean and organised kitchen, and assisting with occasional household errands to support the smooth running
of the home.
The Housekeeper will maintain high housekeeping standards throughout the residence, carrying out daily
refreshes of occupied rooms, laundry, ironing and specialist garment care, wardrobe management and
organisation, packing and unpacking for travel, and bed making with regular linen changes. Working closely
alongside the House Manager, the successful candidate will also assist with the smooth day-to-day running of
the household while ensuring the home is maintained to an impeccable standard.
Requirements
• Previous experience working together as a Domestic Couple within a private household.
• One partner must have proven experience as a private household Cook or Chef, preparing fresh daily
meals and catering for informal entertaining.
• The other partner must have excellent housekeeping, laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
experience within a private household.
• Comfortable working around three dogs and two cats.
• Full, clean UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Positive, flexible and team-oriented approach.
• Excellent contactable references.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
