A family with two teenage daughters, and one dog is looking for a reliable and professional Live-in Housekeeper to join their household in Chelsea on a long-term basis.

You will be contracted to work 40 hours per week, Tuesday to Saturday with Sundays and Mondays off. The Housekeeper will have the support of a part-time cleaner who works three days per week (Monday, Wednesday and Friday, 6 hours per day).

The family has a home in Spain and would ideally like the Housekeeper to travel with them during October & May half term and 3-4 weeks in the summer. The candidate must therefore be comfortable with family travel and able to accompany them to Spain during these periods. Spanish is not required.

Private accommodation is provided on the lower-ground floor, comprising a private bedroom and bathroom. There is also a utility area with a fridge and coffee machine, and the Housekeeper will have use of the family kitchen. There is also parking available for a Housekeeper who has their own vehicle.

The family is particularly looking for someone with a stable employment history and proven longevity in previous positions, they would love to find someone who is genuinely seeking a long-term position.

Duties

·       Working alongside the family’s part-time cleaner to support with general housekeeping

·       Laundry and ironing

·       Keeping the home organised, tidy and well presented

·       Helping the girls get organised in the mornings

·       Preparing breakfast

·       ⁠Food preparation and family cooking

·       Maintaining a clean and organised kitchen

·       ⁠Light supervision of the teenage girls when required

·       ⁠Assisting with general household duties as required

·       Walkingthe dog, and supporting with care

To be considered for this role you must;

·       Have 5+ years of experience working as a private household Housekeeper

·       Be fluent in English

·       Hold the rights to work in the UK

·       Have excellent contactable references

·       Have(/ be willing to obtain) an up-to-date DBS certificate
