Salary: £45,000 – £55,000 gross per annum (DOE)

We are seeking an experienced, proactive and discreet Live-in Housekeeper / Cook for a beautiful private
estate in Somerset.
Working alongside other staff, you will take responsibility for maintaining a substantial six-bedroom
residence to an exceptional standard whilst preparing fresh, family-style meals when the principals are in
residence. The family are London-based and tend to use the property on weekends and during extended
holidays, therefore flexibility around their schedule is appreciated.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for someone who enjoys working within a private household
and takes genuine pride in delivering exceptional housekeeping and hospitality standards.
Duties will include:
· Maintaining the property to exceptional housekeeping standards, including daily and deep
cleaning.
· Preparing fresh breakfast, lunch and dinner when the family are in residence.
· Menu planning and managing local and online food shopping.
· Laundry, ironing and specialist garment care.
· Wardrobe management and organisation.
· Caring for fine furnishings, antiques, artwork, silverware, china and specialist finishes.
· Household organisation and stock management.
· Table setting and food and beverage service.
· Greeting and looking after family members and guests.
To be considered for this role you must;
· Have 5+ years of experience working as a Housekeeper / Cook or Housekeeper within a
private household
· Have excellent contactable references
· Hold the rights to work within the UK
· Full clean UK driving licence preferred
· Hold (/ be willing to get) an up-to-date DBS certificate
