LIVE-IN HOUSEKEEPER / NANNY – CHELSEA, LONDON – £60,000-£65,000

Salary: £60,000-£65,000 (depending on experience)
Schedule: 5 days per week
Hours: Approximately 12 hours per day (with a 2-3 hour daily break)
Accommodation: Private bedroom accommodation (lower ground floor,) separate from main family
areas

A private UHNW family based in Chelsea is seeking an experienced, warm and highly organised Live-In
Housekeeper / Nanny to join their fully staffed household.
This is a combined role requiring strong childcare and housekeeping experience.
The family have twin toddlers aged 20 months and an 8-year-old child, and are seeking somebody nurturing,
adaptable and confident supporting a busy family environment. Responsibilities include assisting with daily
childcare routines, nursery and school runs, children’s meals and activities, alongside managing children’s
laundry and bedrooms whilst working collaboratively with the wider household team.
Alongside childcare responsibilities, the candidate will maintain the residence to exceptionally high standards
through detailed housekeeping, cleaning and household organisation. Duties will include laundry and ironing,
garment care, packing and unpacking, wardrobe management, household inventories, guest preparation,
simple family cooking and assisting with travel preparation and seasonal organisation, whilst maintaining
discretion and confidentiality at all times.
Travel - Candidates should be willing and able to travel with the family occasionally if required. Eligibility to
travel to the USA and obtain a US ESTA would be beneficial.
*For exceptional candidates living locally to Chelsea, a live-out arrangement may also be considered.
Should candidates wish to work a 6th day with additional salary when the Family are in residence, this option
is also available.
Requirements
• Previous experience working within a private household in a combined Housekeeper / Nanny role
• Genuine warmth and confidence working around young children and toddlers
• Strong housekeeping standards with knowledge of laundry and fabric care
• Organised, proactive and detail-oriented approach
• Flexible and adaptable regarding schedule and household needs
• Comfortable working within a fully staffed household environment
• Up-to-date First Aid certification preferred
• Enhanced DBS / police checks (or equivalent), or willingness to obtain
