Role: Live-in Housekeeper
Days: 5 days per week, including two weekends per month

We are seeking an experienced, proactive and discreet Live-in Housekeeper for a beautiful private family estate in Somerset.
Working closely with the PA/House Manager and Groundsman, you will take responsibility for the housekeeping, presentation and organisation of the six-bedroom main residence and three guest cottages. The successful candidate will have an exceptional eye for detail, take genuine ownership of their role and ensure the property is always immaculate, organised and ready for the family and guests.
Flexibility is required when the family are in residence, including two weekends per month, with time off in lieu where additional days are worked.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for an experienced private household Housekeeper who is naturally organised, discreet and confident working to exceptional standards.
Duties will include:
· Daily and deep cleaning of the main residence and guest cottages.
· Preparing bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas for family and guests.
· Laundry, ironing, linen and wardrobe management, including specialist garment care.
· Care of fine art, antiques, silverware, china, crystal and specialist finishes.
· Household organisation, inventories and stock management.
· Grocery and household shopping, deliveries and occasional errands.
· Preparing breakfast and assisting with simple family lunches and dinners.
· Table setting, food service and assisting with entertaining.
· Maintaining pantry, fridge, freezer and household supplies.
· Identifying and reporting maintenance requirements proactively.
· Assisting with the care of the family dogs.
· Occasional travel with the family to their European residence (approx. 3–4 weeks per year).
To be consideredfor this role you must:
· Have previous experience within a UHNW/HNW private household, luxury residence or similarly high-standard environment.
· Have excellent checkable references.
· Be proactive, highly organised, discreet and exceptionally detail-oriented.
· Be confident with luxury laundry, wardrobe management and valuable household items.
· Be comfortable around dogs and willing to assist with their care.
· Hold the right to work within the UK.
· A full UK driving licence is preferred.
· Hold, or be willing to obtain, an up-to-date DBS certificate.
