A warm and welcoming family in Santa Monica is seeking an experienced Live-in Nanny / Family Assistant to become a valued part of their household. Caring for three young children (6 months, 3 years and 5 years), this is a fantastic opportunity for a career nanny who enjoys working alongside a kind, hands-on mother in a collaborative, team-focused environment.
Dad has a demanding career involving long hours and occasional travel, so the family is looking for someone who can become a trusted extra pair of hands, helping the home run smoothly so they can make the most of their time together. They have an excellent track record of retaining long-term staff and are looking for someone who is equally excited to build a lasting relationship with the family.
Housekeepers take care of the deep cleaning, so this is a varied role combining childcare with family assistance. You’ll support the children’s daily routines, prepare healthy meals, assist with laundry and wardrobe organisation, keep children’s spaces beautifully organised, run errands, help with day-to-day household organisation and naturally stay one step ahead, whether that’s emptying the dishwasher, refreshing the fridge, or quietly taking care of the little things that make family life feel calm and effortless.
They are looking for someone who genuinely loves supporting families and takes pride in creating a warm, organised and happy home. You’ll be proactive, highly organised and naturally notice what needs doing without being asked, enjoying a varied role where no two days are the same.
You will:
• Have a warm, nurturing personality and a positive, can-do attitude.
• Enjoy working alongside hands-on parents as part of a team.
• Be calm, adaptable and able to think ahead in a busy household.
• Be a confident cook. A driver is preferred but not essential.
• Be looking for a long-term position where you can become a trusted and valued part of the family.
• Speak fluent English.
