Live-in or Live-out Nanny
Summary
Care for three children (toddler, preschool age, and newborn due) in Santa Monica, California, with seasonal travel. Salary $65,000–$100,000 gross per annum (DOE). Start within 6 weeks.
Hours and Days
Monday – Friday or Tuesday – Saturday, 40–50 hours per week, typically 11am–8pm with flexibility.
Accommodation
Live-in option available with accommodation in a separate two-bedroom guest house on the property; live-out also possible.
Duties
- Support daily routines, emotional wellbeing, and independence of children.
- Coordinate school and activities, support morning and afternoon transitions.
- Prepare simple meals for children.
- Encourage outdoor play, swimming, sports, and imaginative activities.
- Maintain clear, consistent boundaries and support positive behaviour.
- Work collaboratively with a full-time housekeeper and hands-on parents.
- Travel seasonally with family to coastal locations for camps and activities.
- Drive confidently as a driver is required.
Requirements
- Confident, experienced nanny skilled with toddlers and preschoolers.
- Calm, kind, firm when needed, playful, and emotionally intelligent.
- Respectful, child-led approach with ability to establish routines and consistency.
- Right to work in the US or in process of securing work authorisation.
