SENIOR HOUSEKEEPER / COOK (LIVE-IN OR LIVE-OUT) – HAMPSTEAD, LONDON – £50,000–£65,000
Role: Live-in or Live-out Senior Housekeeper / Cook
Salary: £50,000–£65,000 gross per annum (depending on experience and accommodation
requirement)
Working pattern: 5 days / 40 hours per week, including some weekends
Accommodation (if live-in): Private two-bedroom, two-bathroom apartment located a short distance
from the main property
Contract: Permanent, Full-Time

An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced Senior Housekeeper / Cook to join a well-established
private household in Hampstead
Focused on supporting one principal, this is a varied position combining exceptional housekeeping, cooking
and household organisation. Working alongside an experienced House Manager, the successful candidate will
take ownership of the smooth day-to-day running of the home while preparing fresh, simple and healthy
family-style meals
The household benefits from dedicated security, gardening and maintenance staff, allowing the successful
candidate to focus on housekeeping, wardrobe management and cooking. The property is occupied by one
principal on a day-to-day basis, with occasional visits from family and guests. The household includes three
dogs and two cats
The successful candidate will maintain exceptionally high housekeeping standards throughout the residence,
carrying out daily refreshes of occupied rooms, laundry, ironing and specialist garment care, wardrobe
management and organisation and bed making with regular linen changes.
They will prepare fresh, healthy evening meals for the principal, simple lunches as required, and occasional
meals for informal entertaining of approximately 5–6 guests. Additional responsibilities include menu
planning, grocery shopping, maintaining a clean and organised kitchen, supporting the House Manager with
the smooth day-to-day running of the household, liaising with household staff and contractors where
appropriate, and assisting with household administration and organisation.
Please note that a part-time cleaner is also employed to assist and support household
Requirements
• Previous experience in a similar Senior Housekeeper, Housekeeper/Cook or Housekeeper position within
a private household.
• Confident preparing fresh, healthy family-style meals and catering for informal entertaining.
• Excellent organisational skills with the ability to work independently, use initiative and manage multiple
priorities.
• Comfortable working around three dogs and two cats.
• Full, clean UK driving licence preferred but not essential.
• Excellent English communication skills, both spoken and written.
• Outstanding contactable references.
• Legal right to work in the UK.
