A private household in Kensington is seeking an experienced, professional and highly organised Live-in Rota
Nanny / Housekeeper to support a busy home with a 1-year-old child
Working on a 7 days on / 7 days off rota, the successful candidate will provide a combination of sole-charge
childcare and hands-on housekeeping, ensuring the smooth day-to-day running of the household whilst
delivering exceptional care for the child
The role includes managing daily routines, preparing age-appropriate meals and snacks, organising activities,
nursery and developmental support, babysitting and occasional sole-charge responsibility when required
Alongside childcare duties, the successful candidate will maintain the household to a high standard, including
detailed cleaning, laundry, ironing, wardrobe management, household organisation, bed making, linen
changes and general household support
Accommodation is excellent, with own private bedroom and shared bathroom on a separate floor of the
residence. Staff also have access to a private patio courtyard and kitchen facilities. The property has been
recently refurbished and offers a very comfortable working and living environment
The ideal candidate will be calm, proactive, flexible and experienced in balancing childcare and housekeeping
responsibilities within a private household setting
Requirements
• Previous experience as a Live-in Nanny, Nanny/Housekeeper or similar role within a private household
• Confident providing sole-charge care
• Excellent housekeeping standards
• Enhanced DBS (or willingness to obtain)
• First Aid qualification preferred
• Fluent English
• Full legal right to work in the UK
• Flexible to travel occasionally with the family if required
