Days: Monday–Friday
Hours:11:00am–6:00pm
Contract: Permanent
Salary: £40,000–£45,000 gross per annum, depending on experience
Start Date: Flexible
We are seeking an experienced and confident Cook/Housekeeper to join a private household in Knightsbridge, London.
This is a varied position with a strong emphasis on cooking, so the successful candidate will bea capable and enthusiastic home cook who enjoys preparing fresh, healthy and delicious family meals. Alongside cooking, you will provide general housekeeping support to ensure the home is well maintained, organised and running smoothly.
The contracted hours are 11:00am – 6:00pm, Monday to Friday. For a candidate looking for additional hours, the family can also offer regular babysitting.
This is an excellent opportunity for an experienced Cook/Housekeeper looking for along-term position within a private household in central London.
Key Responsibilities
· Preparing and cooking fresh family meals
· Menu planning and accommodating the family’s preferences
· Grocery shopping and keeping the kitchen well stocked and organised
· General housekeeping and maintaining high standards throughout the home
· Laundry and ironing
· Wardrobe organisation
· Running household errands
· Assisting with packing and travel preparation
· Providing additional household support as required
To be considered for this position, you should:
· Have a minimum of 5 years’ experience as a Cook/Housekeeper within a private household
· Be a confident and competent home cook with experience preparing family meals
· Have the legal right to work in the UK
· Be fluent in English
· Be organised,reliable, discreet and proactive
· Have excellent,contactable references from previous private household positions
· Hold, or be willing to obtain, an up-to-date DBS certificate
