An excellent opportunity has arisen for an experienced and highly organised House Manager to oversee the
day-to-day management of a prestigious private villa in Monaco
Working closely with the Principal, you will take responsibility for ensuring the smooth operation and
maintenance of the residence, managing contractors and household staff, coordinating maintenance projects,
handling household administration and delivering an exceptional standard of service at all times
This is a hands-on, varied role suited to a proactive professional who thrives in a fast-paced private
household environment and enjoys taking ownership of all aspects of estate operations
This is a live-out position. Candidates should already be based in Monaco or the surrounding South of France
or be willing to relocate independently (no relocation or accommodation assistance is provided). Key
responsibilities to include;
• Oversee the day-to-day management of the villa, gardens and grounds.
• Ensure the property is maintained to an exceptional standard at all times.
• Manage all household suppliers, contractors and service providers.
• Coordinate planned maintenance, repairs and improvement projects.
• Supervise household staff, including housekeepers, chefs, nannies and other employees where applicable.
• Handle household administration, invoices, budgets and bill payments.
• Conduct errands and other ad hoc duties as required.
• Liaise directly with the Principal and external professionals.
• Review quotations, contracts and service agreements.
• Ensure the property remains safe, secure and efficiently managed.
• Maintain the highest levels of discretion, professionalism and confidentiality.
Requirements
• A minimum of eight years' experience as a House Manager or in a similar senior private household
position.
• Previous experience within a luxury private household is essential - Luxury hotel or hospitality
management experience is highly advantageous.
• Fluent English and French, both spoken and written.
• Strong leadership and people management skills.
• Excellent organisational, administrative and problem-solving abilities.
• Confident managing multiple contractors and projects simultaneously.
• Full, clean driving licence and the ability to drive legally in Monaco would be advantageous.
