Days: 5 days per week, including fixed Saturdays and Sundays

Hours: 40 hours per week. Saturday & Sunday 8:00am–8:00pm, with reduced hours across three weekdays

We are looking for an experienced, reliable and discreet full-time Housekeeper to join a private household on a permanent basis.

This is a five-day position with Saturday and Sunday as fixed working days, along with three weekdays. Weekend hours will be 8:00am–8:00pm, with reduced hours across three weekdays to make up a 40-hour working week. On weekends the Housekeeper will work independently, during the weekdays they will work alongside a small team of household staff.

The role will combine high-standard housekeeping with breakfast preparation and simple, healthy cooking.

There is a small dog in the household so the Housekeeper must be pet friendly and happy to take the dog for walks, vets and groomers if necessary.

Duties & Responsibilities

·       Maintaining the household to a consistently high standard of cleanliness and presentation

·       General cleaning, tidying and organisation throughout the home

·       Laundry,ironing and wardrobe care

·       Changing and refreshing bed linen and towels

·       ⁠Keeping bedrooms, bathrooms and living areas clean, organised and well-presented

·       ⁠Managing household supplies and flagging when items need replenishing

·       ⁠Breakfast preparation chia seeds/chia pudding,eggs and fresh fruit

·       Preparing simple, healthy meals using fresh ingredients (chicken, fish and vegetable-based dishes)

·       Following approximately six regular household recipes and preparing them consistently

·       Keeping the kitchen clean and organised, including cleaning down after meal preparation

·       Maintaining excellent standards of hygiene and food storage

·       Assisting with general household tasks as required

To be considered for this role you must;

·       Have 5+ years of experience working as a Housekeeper within a private household

·       Be fluent in English

·       Hold the rights to work in the UK

·       Have excellent contactable references

·       Have (/ be willing to obtain) an up-to-date DBS certificate
