Live-out Houseman / Handyman | Belgravia | £50,000–£60,000
Location: Sloane Square, London
Salary: £80,000–£110,000 gross per annum, DOE
Schedule: Monday–Friday, approximately 12pm–9/10pm
Travel: Occasional planned international travel, typically 2–3 weeks at a time
Start: Flexible
An established private household is seeking an experienced, practical and proactive Houseman / Handyman to support the smooth day-to-day running and upkeep of a high-end private residence for an international family of 6
This is a varied, hands-on role suited to someone who enjoys property maintenance, light gardening and working as part of a small professional household team. The successful candidate will take pride in maintaining exceptional standards both inside and outside the property and will be happy to assist wherever required. Candidates should be well presented with a professional appearance and excellent personal grooming.
· Carry out general handyman and preventative property maintenance.
· Maintain gardens and external areas, including lawns, borders, patios and pathways.
· Undertake light seasonal gardening duties including hedge trimming, pruning, planting, leaf clearing and jet washing.
· Maintain garages, storage areas, plant rooms and external buildings.
· Assist with the care and exercise of family pets when required.
· Support external contractors and monitor routine maintenance works.
· Carry out general household errands and practical tasks.
· Maintain household supplies and ensure exterior areas remain clean, organised and well presented.
· Provide general support to other team members as required.
· Previous experience as a Houseman, Estate Worker, Groundsman, Handyman or in a similar private household role.
· Strong practical maintenance and DIY skills.
· Gardening and exterior maintenance experience.
· Comfortable working around animals.
· Physically fit with a proactive, hands-on approach.
· Excellent communication skills and a positive team-focused attitude.
· Well presented with excellent personal grooming.
· Enhanced DBS certificate, or willingness to obtain one.
· Excellent contactable references.
· Legal right to work in the UK.
