Days/Hours: Monday–Friday, 8am–5pm

Salary: £55,000–£65,000 gross per annum (depending on skills, experience andprevious earnings)

A warm and welcoming American family based in Chelsea are looking for an experienced, nurturing nanny to join them on a long-term basis. They are hoping to find someone who genuinely loves working with young children and is looking to become a valued part of the family for many years to come.
Thefamily have two daughters, aged 18 months and one month. The role will involvesupporting the family during the daytime, working alongside a night nanny whowill take over care in the evenings. Mum and Dad both work from home, and theyare looking for someone confident and experienced who can take ownership of thechildren’s daytime routines and provide calm, consistent and loving care.
Theireldest daughter is a bright, affectionate and wonderfully engaging little girlwho is advanced for her age in both her speech and walking. She has a real loveof books and will happily sit and read for long periods, as well as enjoyingtrips to the park, ballet classes and Little Kickers. She has a fantasticappetite and loves mealtimes, making this a lovely opportunity for a nanny whoenjoys preparing nutritious meals and encouraging healthy eating habits.
Withtheir youngest daughter still very little, the family would love to findsomeone who is confident caring for babies and toddlers and comfortablebalancing the different needs and routines of both children as the baby grows.The role will naturally evolve over time, offering wonderful scope for a nannywho enjoys supporting children through their early developmental stages.
Thefamily are looking for someone who will create fun, stimulating days, takingthe children to local parks, classes and activities while supporting theircontinued development through play and exploration. Alongside childcare, therole will include preparing healthy, nutritious meals, batch cooking for thechildren, keeping children’s areas beautifully organised and ensuringeverything related to the children runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
Theyare hoping to find someone who is warm, organised, proactive and naturallytakes initiative. A nanny who is trustworthy, calm and easy to be around,whilst confidently taking ownership of the children’s routines, will thrive inthis role. A French speaker would be a wonderful bonus, although this is by nomeans essential.
Theremay be occasional opportunities to travel with the family for holidays or shortbreaks throughout the year, although this is entirely optional. A privateparking space is also available for a nanny who drives, helping to makecommuting as convenient as possible. The family also have a friendly12-year-old Toyger cat.
