A down-to-earth family of four based in Hampstead are seeking an experienced, proactive and hands-on Nanny / Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis.
Role: Live-out Nanny/Housekeeper
Care for: B8 & B6
Days: Monday – Friday
Schedule: 7.30am – 7.00pm (2-hour break in the day) shorter hours may be considered for the right candidate
Location: Hampstead, North London
Salary: £55,000–£65,000 gross per annum, DOE
Start: ASAP / Flexible
A down-to-earth family of four based in Hampstead are seeking an experienced, proactive and hands-on Nanny / Housekeeper to join their household on a long-term basis.
The family have two boys, aged 8 and 6, who are both at school during the day. The family are looking for a candidate who is genuinely happy to take on a combined role, focusing on housekeeping while the children are at school and transitioning to childcare duties in the afternoon.
The family are looking for someone who will take pride in keeping the home organised and running smoothly, while also building a warm and positive relationship with the children.
A candidate who drives would be a bonus but not essential.
Duties & Responsibilities
· Full day-to-day housekeeping and upkeep ofthe family home
· Laundry, ironing and wardrobe management
· General tidying and household organisation
· Keeping the children's bedrooms, play areasand belongings organised
· Preparing meals, primarily for the children
· Taking responsibility for the boys when they return from school
· Supporting homework, after-school activities and daily routines
· Helping to organise school items, uniforms and children's belongings
· Occasional babysitting
· Occasional proxy parenting when required
· Occasional travel with the family would behelpful, although not essential
To be considered for this role you must;
· Have 5+ years of experience working as aNanny/Housekeeper within a private household caring for school aged children
· Hold the rights to work within the UK
· Have excellent contactable references
· Hold (/be willing to obtain) an up-to-date DBS certificate
· Be fluent in English
