Care for: G18 months (with newborn due in September)
Days/Hours: 4–5 days per week, approximately (8am – 12midday/2pm)
Location: Chelsea, London (SW1X)
Salary: £20 net per hour (depending on skills, experience and previous earnings)

A warm, welcoming American family based in Chelsea are looking for an experienced, nurturing
nanny to join them on a long-term basis. They are hoping to ?ind someone who genuinely loves
working with young children and is looking to become a valued part of the family for many years
to come.
The role will initially centre around caring for their delightful 18-month-old daughter while
Mum and Dad work from home. The family are expecting their second daughter in September
and will have a maternity nurse in place during the newborn stage. Once Mum returns from
maternity leave, the position will naturally develop into caring for both children, making this a
wonderful long-term opportunity to grow alongside the family.
Their eldest daughter is a bright, affectionate and wonderfully engaging little girl who is
advanced for her age in both her speech and walking. She has a real love of books and will
happily sit and read for long periods, as well as enjoying trips to the park, ballet classes and
Little Kickers. She has a fantastic appetite and loves mealtimes, making this a lovely opportunity
for a nanny who enjoys preparing nutritious meals and encouraging healthy eating habits.
The family are looking for someone who will create fun, stimulating days, taking their daughter
to local parks, classes and activities, while supporting her continued development through play
and exploration. Alongside childcare, the role will include preparing healthy, nutritious meals,
batch cooking for the children, keeping children's areas beautifully organised and ensuring
everything related to the children runs smoothly on a day-to-day basis.
They are hoping to ?ind someone who is warm, organised, proactive and naturally takes
initiative. A nanny who is trustworthy, calm and easy to be around, whilst con?idently taking
ownership of the children's routines, will thrive in this role. A French speaker would be a
wonderful bonus, although this is by no means essential.
There may be occasional opportunities to travel with the family for holidays or short breaks
throughout the year, although this is entirely optional. A private parking space is also available
for a nanny who drives, helping to make commuting as convenient as possible. The family also
have a friendly 12-year-old Toyger cat.
This is a fantastic long-term opportunity for an experienced nanny who is looking to become a
genuine extension of a kind and appreciative family. There is excellent scope for the role to grow
over time, with the potential for increased hours as the family's needs evolve, making it a
