A busy private family based in Holland Park with two teenage children is seeking an experienced full-time Private Chef to join their household on a five-day-per-week basis
The family enjoys a broad range of international cuisines, including Italian, Greek, Chinese, Thai and Japanese, with an emphasis on fresh, healthy and high-quality ingredients.
They are looking for a creative and intuitive Chef who can really get to know the individual tastes and requirements of each family member. Importantly, the Chef should be confident taking ownership of menu planning – proactively suggesting dishes and creating varied weekly menus rather than relying on the family to decide what should be cooked each day
This is a busy but friendly household with an established staff team, so personality and fit are particularly important. The successful candidate will be polite, aware and discreet, with a collaborative approach and the ability to blend seamlessly with other household staff
Candidate Requirements
• Strong Private Chef experience within a private household or comparable luxury environment
• Excellent international repertoire across European and Asian cuisines
• Creative and genuinely passionate about food
• Confident and proactive with menu planning
• Intuitive and able to understand different family members’ tastes and requirements
• Polite, discreet and socially aware
• A genuine team player who works well alongside other household staff
• Highly organised, flexible and adaptable
