A UHNW family based in Holland Park are seeking an experienced Weekend Private Chef to support their household on an ongoing basis
This role is only open to chefs with existing Private Household experience and longevity
Working each Saturday and Sunday, when Clients are in-residence the Chef will be responsible for preparing lunch, dinner and light snacks for a busy family environment, including children. The role will involve taking a clear handover from the weekday Chef and working closely with an established household team to ensure seamless continuity of service
The family enjoy fresh, healthy and flavourful food, with a strong preference for authentic Italian cooking alongside other Mediterranean cuisines. They appreciate simple, well-executed dishes using quality seasonal ingredients, from properly cooked al dente pasta to grilled fish and vegetables. Strong pastry skills and the ability to make excellent desserts are also very important. The Chef should be confident accommodating dietary preferences, preparing appealing meals for children and catering for occasional informal entertaining.
This is a hands-on role within a fully staffed home, requiring a flexible and collaborative approach. The successful candidate will be confident working within a team, intuitive to the needs of the Principals, and adaptable to last-minute changes in schedule or requirements. Candidates should have proven experience within private households, and a consistent track record of delivering high standards with a calm, organised and discreet approach
