We are delighted to be assisting a lovely family in the search for an experienced Registered Nurse (RN), Qualified Midwife, or equivalent medically qualified healthcare professional to provide dedicated daytime postnatal support following the birth of their first children, newborn twins due in November 2026.

Working alongside the family’s live-in Newborn Care Specialists, who will provide 24-hour care for the twins, your primary focus will be supporting Mum throughout her recovery following a planned Caesarean section. This will include postnatal care, wound care, assistance with bathing, dressing, mobility, and providing reassurance and guidance during the early weeks of motherhood.

Whilst this is primarily a maternal support role, you should also be happy to assist with the babies during the day as required, enabling the Newborn Care Specialist on duty to take appropriate breaks while maintaining seamless care for the twins.

The role will also involve accompanying the family to medical appointments. On occasion, overnight hospital stays or nearby accommodation may be required and will be provided by the family.

Key Responsibilities

* Provide expert postnatal care following a planned Caesarean birth.

* Monitor Mum’s recovery, wellbeing, and ongoing postnatal needs.

* Assist with wound care, bathing, dressing, mobility, and recovery.

* Support with the babies during the day when required.

* Accompany the family to hospital and medical appointments.

* Work collaboratively with the Newborn Care Specialists and household team.

* Maintain the highest levels of professionalism, discretion, and confidentiality.

Candidate Requirements

* Applicants must be a medically qualified Registered Nurse (RN), Qualified Midwife, or equivalent licensed healthcare professional.

* Significant postnatal and Caesarean recovery experience is essential.

* Previous private household experience is highly desirable.

* Current professional registration and relevant certifications.

* Excellent, checkable references.

* Warm, compassionate, organised, discreet, and calm under pressure.

* Fluent English.

* Must have the legal right to live and work in the United States.

This is an exceptional opportunity to support a genuinely lovely family during one of the most special times in their lives, working alongside an experienced newborn care team in a warm, respectful, and fully supported household.
