SECURITY DRIVER, ST JOHN’S WOOD, £50,000–£60,000
Role: Security-focussed Driver
Salary: £50,000–£60,000 gross per annum (DOE)
Days: 6 days per week (when Family are in-residence)
Schedule: Significant time off provided during some school holidays
Hours: Approximately 8:00am–7:00pm (w flexibility)
Travel: Some UK & international travel
Start: End of August 2026
A HNW family based in St John's Wood are seeking an experienced Security Driver to support their
household.
The successful candidate will have previous experience working as a Family Chauffeur or Security Driver
within a private household. Strong security awareness is essential, with previous military or close
protection experience considered highly advantageous. You will have an excellent knowledge of London,
be calm, personable, discreet and naturally service-oriented, with a proactive, can-do approach. The role
requires full commitment whilst the family is in residence, balanced by generous periods of time off
during many school holidays when they are away. The family values personality just as highly as
experience and is looking for someone calm, dependable, discreet and highly flexible.
Duties
• Safe, discreet chauffeuring for the principals and family throughout London.
• Maintain a strong security awareness at all times.
• Accompany the family on UK and international travel during school holidays.
• Assist with arrivals, departures, opening doors, luggage and general household support.
• Support wider Family, nannies and wider household team as required.
• Maintain all family vehicles to an exceptional standard.
• Plan routes efficiently with excellent knowledge of London.
• Be available and proactive whilst on duty, anticipating the family's needs.
