A returning UHNW family are seeking an experienced Temporary Private Chef to join them at their summer residence in Comporta, Portugal, from late July until the end of August.
Prior to travelling to Portugal, the successful candidate will undertake a paid trial with the family in London during June (dates to be mutually agreed), ensuring a smooth transition into the summer role.
This is a fantastic opportunity for a calm, adaptable and highly capable Chef who enjoys working within a relaxed but high-standard private household environment.
The Chef will be responsible for preparing daily breakfast, lunch and dinner for a family of four, together with occasional meals for visiting guests throughout the summer. The family enjoy Mediterranean, Asian and globally inspired cuisine, with an emphasis on fresh, healthy and flavourful food. Cooking should be relaxed, quality-driven and family-style, with plenty of sharing plates, outdoor dining and seasonal dishes.
Working alongside an established Sous Chef, the successful candidate will oversee menu planning, provisioning, kitchen organisation and the highest standards of presentation and hygiene throughout the assignment.
The ideal candidate will be organised, discreet and service-driven, with the flexibility and adaptability required to thrive in a busy family environment.
